Nick Aleks
Nick Aleks is Chief Hacking Officer of ASEC and founder of DC416, Toronto's DEF CON chapter and one of Canada's largest hacker communities, now in its tenth year (2016–2026). He is the co-author of Black Hat GraphQL (No Starch Press, 2023) and Black Hat Bash (No Starch Press, 2024), and the creator of Damn Vulnerable Drone (402 GitHub stars), the open-source ArduPilot/MAVLink simulator the industry uses to train on drone-pentest technique. Previously Distinguished Security Engineer at TD Bank and Head of Security at Wealthsimple. He hacks websites, safes, locks, cars, drones, and intelligent buildings, and teaches others to do the same.
